The following is my solution to the problem that the thread is easy to break when the heavy material sewing machine is working. The solution to the problem by adjusting it on the existing machine is as follows;
The first point: choose a needle that is one size larger than the needle used before, but pay attention to the selection of a needle that matches the suture, because if the needle eye is too small, it will increase the resistance of the suture passing through the needle hole, resulting in The probability of disconnection increases.
The second point: If the thickness of the needle is increased, the needle plate, presser foot, and the needle hole of the cloth feeding tooth of the machine must be increased accordingly, because if the individual needle hole is enlarged, it is easy to be squeezed or squeezed when working with other parts. Friction creates resistance.
The third point: slow down the cloth feed dog, the cloth feed dog can assist in thread take-up.
Its degree depends on the height of the feed dog rising out of the needle plate, the distance of movement and the feeding time. The higher the feed dog lifts out of the needle plate and the greater the movement distance, the tighter the stitches will be collected; the longer the feed dog falls into the needle plate, the longer the thread take-up time can be extended.
Fourth point: In order to reliably hook the thread loop from the center of the thread loop, so as not to cause thread breakage due to thread splitting, the hook thread hooking time should be slowed down and the needle bar should be lowered.
